Associate Professor Dr Winai Dahlan is the founding director of Halal Science Center at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of halal science, during which he has delivered lectures worldwide. He received several international as well as national awards and has been honoured with various medals, including The King’s Dushdi Mala Medal for outstanding expertise in sciences in 2008.
Dr Winai has been consistently recognised as one of the 500 most influential Muslims by Jordan’s Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre for 15 consecutive years since 2010. He holds a Ph.D. from Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium.
